A meme is a term referring to a unit of cultural information transferable from one mind to another.
Abstract: in the original meme, it is simply the 3d head model and a bottle of water, with the caption "ah, yes. enslaved moisture" This takes after the memes produced by the community r/surrealmemes, with both the use of this specific 3d head model and the absurdity of the meme as a whole. It became a popular example of surreal memes. Recently on r/me_irl, there's been an influx of German and Dutch memes. This is unusual since the community mostly represents the USA. In this meme, we see how Germany and the Netherlands have, in a sense, enslaved America by taking over the traditionally American memes on r/me_irl. This also cleverly uses the original meme's language to dig at America's infamous history with slavery, while simultaneously referencing how Germany and the Netherlands haven't been innocent with regard to it either. And finally, it ties back to the original meme, with the idea of water, or here the American r/me_irl, being restrained for the use of others.
