Robert Norman Ross was an American painter, art instructor, and television host. He was the creator and host of The Joy of Painting, an instructional television program that aired from 1983 to 1994 on PBS in the United States, and also aired in Canada, Latin America, and Europe.
If you're unfamiliar with him, here is one of his

Similar to the way Rupi Kaur's poems move me to an uncontrollable expression of despondency and a heightened dolorous state, Bob Ross consumes my frigid essence with the touch of a golden mockingjay.
It was as if he was a semi-transparent envelope that wrapped itself around my consciousness. As Rupi Kaur once said:
"I
was looking like
a Snack
but you were on
a
diet."
